Our partners

The success of the programme is strongly dependent on its broad network. The project is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and co-financed by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF).  CARI works together with more than >40 partners from the public and private sector which contribute significantly in cash or kind. For example, public partners provide for trainers to implement training activities or work with their personel on joint activities at the service of smallholder farmers in their countries. Private partners have a business interest which is bound to the development of the value chain. In the frame of the programme these two interests are aligned and implemented through joint coordinated activities.

Below you find a list of all CARI partners: Implementing partners, Commissioners and co-financing partners, Matching Fund partners and partners of various Multi Actor Partnerships (MAP). By choosing a country in the drop down menu, detailed information is provided on the specific regions and states the programme operates in within the specific country. Furthermore, the list of partners is reduced for a more explicit mapping.
